Three things going on this week that we’re aware of. First, this Tuesday is the Washington Street Irish Pub Celtic session in Bay City. Two weeks ago it was decided to make this session every other week again; the session that Tuesday was on very short notice, and only a handful of us were there. It was still quite fun even when small, and with any luck this week will see attendance numbers back up again.
Wednesday Hoolie has its usual monthly gig at the Stein Haus in Bay City. 7PM-10PM. Then on Saturday the 20th, they are playing for the Saginaw River Marine Historical Society’s ‘Day of Rememberance’ for lost Great Lakes sailors. They play at4 7PM at the First Presbyterian Church on Center Ave, as an opening act of sorts before Dennis Hale speaks on his experience as a shipwreck survivor.
